Cookie & Storage Technologies Notice

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Kindnesss keeps device storage to what the service actually needs. The only third-party script on public pages is website translation, and it loads only after you ask for it.

Language: Automated translation of this website is provided for convenience only. The English version of this document is the version that applies, to the extent permitted by law. Please refer to the English text for any formal interpretation or legal purpose.

1. What this notice covers

This notice explains the technologies Kindnesss uses to store information on, or gain access to information already stored on, the device you browse with. That includes cookies and browser storage such as local storage, and it includes scripts loaded from another organisation.

2. Strictly necessary storage

Kindnesss uses browser storage that is strictly necessary to deliver the service you have asked for. Without it you could not sign in or stay signed in.

  • Authentication and session storage set by our authentication provider, so that a signed-in adult stays signed in and requests are made as the right person.
  • Security storage used to protect sign-in and to prevent session misuse.
  • Preference storage for choices you make in the interface, where the interface offers one.

3. Website translation — loaded only when you ask

Public Kindnesss pages offer an optional translation control. The third-party translation script is not loaded when the page loads. Nothing is requested from the translation provider unless you actively open the Language control and turn translation on.

When you do turn it on, your browser loads the GTranslate widget from that provider, and the provider may set its own storage to remember your language choice. Turning translation on is your choice and you can leave a page without ever loading it.

The translation control is never present on signed-in pages, family pages, Kinder pages, organisation consoles, checkout pages or administrative pages. If you move from a public page to one of those pages, the translation script and its interface are removed and no further requests are made to the provider.

4. Fonts

Kindnesss does not load web fonts from any third-party font service. Pages render using fonts already available on your device, so no font request is made to an outside provider.

5. Payments

Paid subscriptions are completed on hosted checkout pages operated by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. Any cookies or storage used during checkout are set on Dodo's own pages under Dodo's own notice, not by Kindnesss.

6. Advertising and analytics

Kindnesss does not deploy advertising cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking technologies or behavioural profiling in its own source. There is no advertising network, no marketing tag manager and no social media pixel in the Kindnesss application.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers necessarily process request and security information in order to serve pages, protect the service and produce aggregate operational metrics such as availability and error rates. That processing is operational, not advertising, and is not used to build a profile of you across other websites.

7. Managing storage

You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary authentication storage, you will not be able to sign in to Kindnesss.

If you have turned translation on and want to stop it, close or turn off the Language control and clear your browser storage for this site.

8. Changes

If we introduce a technology that is not strictly necessary and is not something you have actively asked for, we will not load it before obtaining consent where consent is required, and we will update this notice.
